A few years ago, Coca-Cola came out with a new drink that combined coke and coffee. After been carefully crafted, BlāK hit the European market in 2006, before making its way to the United States.
It came in either a glass coke bottle with golden hues, instead of the iconic red lines, or an aluminum bottle. An executive employee said, during the release, that “We believe we have created a new category of soft drink – an adult product in a carbonated beverage – and a whole new drinking experience.”
Even one of the world’s largest corporation experience failures, and BlāK is the perfect example. After two years, the drink was removed from the shelves.

Apparently, the drink was launched to compete one of the company’s largest competitor; the carbonated cappuccino also seemed to have vanished from the shelves.
